William Hugh Janicke, age 78, of Sparta passed away Sunday, September 17, 2017 at NHC-Sparta.  He was a native of Chicago, Illinois.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard & Emily Janicke and his wife, Mary Elizabeth Janicke.

Mr. Janicke was retired from the Hilton Hotel and served in the Marines.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at Amity Cemetery with Matt Cowan officiating.
