I first met Thomas in 1961. He was married to my soon to be sister-in-law, Marie Hutchins Bivens. A friendship was begun that would span over 50 years. For 40 years we vacationed together every year, going to Gatlinburg, Daytona Beach, Panama City, and other places. I have many good memories. Thomas and Marie had no children so they "adopted" mine and Bobby's two Marie was partial to Larry and Thomas was partial to Tisha. They were like a brother and sister to me and I loved them with all my heart. I will always remember Thomas for the humility he showed to everyone. I love you Thomas, you are back with Marie where you belong.
