My condolences to the family on the loss of your loved one.The sting of death is very painful. But when you throw all your pain on God ( Psalm 83:18), He will comfort you and carry that pain for you.(2 Corinthians 1:3,4)
So draw close to God in prayer and He will draw close to you in return.( James 4:8). Doing this has helped me when I lost someone in death.

I am so sorry about Mark's passing. He was a wonderful friend. He was at my place last month for my birthday and we had the best time. I took some pictures of him and he looks so happy. I will always remember him. My deepest sympathy to you
