Glenda Faye Dobbs, age 76, of Nashville passed away Sunday, October 2, 2016 at Nashville VA Hospital.  She was a native of Huntsville, Alabama.

Survivors include her sons, Michael (Madge) Sliger of Readyville and Derek (Martina) Sliger of Knoxville; 4 grandchildren, Zach, Zyon, Zamian, & Lisa; Brother, Ronnie (Mary) Dobbs of Louden, TN; and Sister, Ruth (Ernie) Miller of Topeka, KS.

She was the daughter of the late Lester and Ruby Stacy Dobbs; granddaughter of the late Rev. William Martin & Alice Henrietta Todd Stacy and Jesse Howell & Philana Milligan Dobbs; her brothers, Anthony "Tony"and Fred Wade Dobbs; and her daughter, Deanna Doris Severance Sliger.

Ms. Dobbs was a veteran of the Army and was a Dental Insurance Claim Representative.  She was also a Christian.

Funeral services will be 2 PM Wednesday, October 5, 2016 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Pastor Roy Paterik & Pastor Charlie Barnard officiating.  Interment will follow at Thyatira Cemetery.  Visitation with the family will be from 4 PM until 8 PM Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at the funeral home.
