Edith Jean Wilson Thomas, age 79, of Bradyville passed away Monday, August 22, 2016 at her home.  She was a native of Hazel Green, AL.

Survivors include her children, Larry Glenn (Anita) Thomas of Auburntown, Gary Dean (Diane) Thomas of Bradyville, Patricia Lynn Thomas (Terry) Pirtle of Woodbury, Teresa Dolores Thomas (Jeff) Tenpenny of Burt Community, and Melissa Jean Thomas (Tony) Burnett of Woodbury; Siblings, Pearl (Sonny) Campbell of Elora, Brenda (Jerry) Farless of Bradyville, and Tony Wilson of Elora; Grandchildren, Jessica Atkins, Rebecca Factor, Jeremy Thomas, Treva Moss, Chris Pirtle, Alex Tenpenny, Grady Tenpenny, and Thomas Burnett.  

7 Great Grandchildren also survive.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Malcom Grady Thomas; parents, William Jasper Wilson & Mary Lucille Bryant Wilson; and siblings, Lois O'Dear, Cecil Wilson, Pat Wilson, and Charlie Wilson.

Ms. Thomas was a member of Burt Baptist Church.  She was a seamstress and homemaker, but most importantly was a mother.

Funeral services will be 10 AM Thursday, August 25, 2016 at Burt Baptist Church with Bros. Larry Thomas & Tony Burnett officiating. Interment will follow at Blue Wing Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 4 to 8 Tuesday, August 23, 2016 and Noon to 8 Wednesday, August 24 at the funeral home.
