Willie (Bill) Albert Pendleton

Mr. Willie (Bill) Albert Pendleton, age 82, of Woodbury passed away Tuesday, August 12, 2025 at Alive Hospice of Murfreesboro.  He was born on December 28, 1942 in Rhea County to his parents, the late Frank & Mary Lemmons Pendleton.

He is survived by his children, Chip (Penny) Fugate of Christiana, Keith Fugate of Lebanon, & Brian Fugate of Mississippi; Son-in-law, James Barnes of Lascassas; Brother, Robert Pendleton of Dayton, TN; and Sisters, Carol Barazak of Smyrna & Imogene Pendleton of Dayton, TN.  Also surviving are 10 grandchildren & 6 great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Pendleton; and his daughter, Janette Fugate Barnes.

Mr. Pendleton was a member of the Baptist church and worked in construction.  He was a member of the Cannon County Walking Horse Association where he loved to ride and was truly a die-hard cowboy.

His family will receive friends for his visitation from 11 am to 2 pm Friday, August 15, 2025 at Woodbury Funeral Home.  Funeral Services will be at 2 pm in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with burial to follow at Cherry Cemetery.
