A member of the Baptist church, Troy was a very likeable man who loved his family. His grandsons were his world. He taught each of them how to do mechanic work and how to shoot a gun among many other things. Along came the great grandkids and he was even more head over heels. As much as he loved them, they loved him just as much. Troy loved fishing, shooting pool, racing cars, building mud trucks and rock crawling. Most of all, he loved helping anyone and everyone. He rarely met a stranger and was known around Woodbury as "Pa" to almost everyone.
Graveside Services will be 2 pm Thursday, May 21, 2020 at Centerhill Cemetery with Bro. Greg Mitchell officiating. His grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Visitation with the family will be from 12 noon until 1:30 pm Thursday. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Woodbury Funeral Home to help the family with funeral expenses.
Due to Covid-19 and the Governor’s orders, please maintain social distancing during the services.
