Timothy Neal Abernathy

Timothy Neal Abernathy, 70, passed away January 15, 2022 at the Nashville Veterans hospital.  He was born in Limestone Co., AL., the son of the late James O’Neal and Ruby Marie Matthews Abernathy. 

He is survived by his sisters, Shelia (Ralph) Butler of Woodbury and Constance (Jerry) Reeder of Heartsburg, MO.; his half brother, Jimmy Wade Abernathy and half sisters, Tammy Abernathy and Penny Abernathy all of Athens, AL.  Also surviving are his children, Andie (Tony) Densmoore of Maridanville, AL and Chad Abernathy of Elmont, AL.

He was an electrician and a veteran of the Vietnam war where he served in the United States Army.

A memorial service with military honors was held on May 14, 2022 with Bro. Shane Nichols officiating.
