Sherry (Bryson) Young

Sherry Bryson Young, age 63, of Auburntown passed away Monday, May 26, 2025 at St. Thomas Rutherford.  She was born in Dekalb County on September 21, 1961 to her parents, the late Jackie Bryson and Ann Tate Bryson of Auburntown.

She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Tony Young of Auburntown; Mother, Ann Tate Bryson of Auburntown; Children, Devin Young of Cookeville, Daniel Young & Peyton Young, both of Auburntown; Brothers, Bobby Bryson of Antioch & Ricky Bryson of Auburntown; Brother-in-law, Tracy Young of Woodbury; and Mother-in-law, Helen Minton of Woodbury.  Seven grandchildren also survive.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her sister, Barbara Bryson; and Brother-in-law, Ricky Young.

Sherry was a member of the Prosperity Baptist Church and was retired from Middle Tennessee State University where she was an executive secretary.

Funeral Services will be at 2 pm Friday May 30, 2025 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. David Moody officiating.  Interment will follow at Sycamore Cemetery.  Her family will receive friends for the visitation from 4 pm to 8 pm Thursday, May 29, 2025.
