Sarah Barrett Obituary

Sarah “Lou” Barrett, 79, of Murfreesboro passed away Friday, January 29, 2021.

She is survived by her children, Ed (Elaine) Barnes of Milton, Terry (Sandra) Neal of Murfreesboro and BJ (David) Murphy of Woodbury; Grandchildren, Jeramey and Ethan Neal, Brandon Barnes, Issac Smotherman, Landyn, Brandyn and Kendra Murphy and her sister, Martha Taylor of Murfreesboro. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, and special friends.

Ms. Barrett was preceded in death by her husband, David Barrett, her mother, Christine Waters and sisters, Thelma Warrick and Ruth Hobbs.

Lou was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who adored her family. She had a green thumb and enjoyed gardening and growing flowers.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
