Ronnie Stephen "Bubba" Martin, Sr.

Ronnie Stephen “Bubba” Martin, Sr., 71, passed away Monday, September 27, 2021 at St. Thomas Rutherford following an extended illness. He was born in Old Hickory, TN and lived in Woodbury.

He is survived by his wife of almost 53 years, Jackie Graves Martin of Woodbury; his sons, Ronnie Stephen Martin, Jr. and Nick Martin both of Woodbury; grandsons, James Stephen Martin and Matthew Bates Martin and sister, Wanda Sue Phillips of Bethpage.  Many nieces and nephews also survive.

Mr. Martin was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Stephen Martin and Tini Mae Russell Martin and sisters, Robbie Wix, Brenda Amons and Faye Brinkley.

A Jesus follower, Bubba was a heaving equipment operator and he enjoyed camping.

Funeral services will be 11 am Friday, October 1, 2021 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Amanda McFerrin and Tim Alexander officiating.  Interment will follow in the Riverside Gardens cemetery.
 
Visitation with the family will be from 4 pm until 8 pm Thursday, September 30, 2021
