Roger Dale Youngblood

   Roger Dale Youngblood, age 78, died Saturday January 15 at his home in the short mountain community.  Roger was a native of Cannon County and son of the late Toy & Alcie Thomas Youngblood.   He is survived by 3 daughters, Robbie Bogle of Smithville, Faye Youngblood (Dale) of Woodbury and Angela Lynch (Mark) of Murfreesboro; 6 grandchildren, Erica Ramey, Kayce Sweeney, Dylan Sweeney, Lema Youngblood, Cierra Witty and Larena Youngblood; 7 great grandchildren and 1 on the way.

   Roger enjoyed camping, fishing, working seek-a-word puzzles at the barn and feeding, petting, and spoiling the old red mule.  He also enjoyed helping Steve Foster & sons on the farm and spending time with Jonathan "John John" Lynch.

   Funeral services will  be 2:00 PM Tuesday January 18, 2022 at the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Greg Mitchell officiating.  Internment will follow at Leoni Cemetery.  Visitation will be after 3:00 PM Monday.
