Robert Joseph Knapp, Jr.

Robert (Bob, Jr.) Knapp, Jr. passed away on Oct. 26, 2023.  He was born on Dec. 21, 1948 in Middletown, NY to the late Robert Knapp, Sr. & Helen Groen.  Bob was a beloved husband to Yvonne Knapp for 40 years.  He is survived by 5 children, Robert J. Knapp, III (Valerie), David M. Knapp (Rebecca), Amanda Cameron, Wendy (Kyle) Hendrickson, & Joseph (Mary) Carr; 11 grandchildren, & 5 great grandchildren; and Siblings, Lillian Schoonmaker (William), Barbara Gzywaczewski (Tom), Douglas Knapp (Susan), Richard Knapp (Barbara), & Carol LeBarron (Roger).  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Robin Smith. 

Bob will be remembered for his love of family, his love & thirst for knowledge of God’s vast animal kingdom, his enjoyment of watching  & attending WWF wrestling, Sunday dinners with his beloved grandbabies, and his “green thumb” for plants & cacti.  He was a loving husband, father, brother, and friend and will be deeply missed by all!

Memorial Services will be held on November 18, 2023 at 2:30 PM at Harvest View Church, 8560 John Bragg Hwy, Readyville, TN 37149.  The family will receive friends for the visitation beginning at 1:30 PM.
