Rebecca Ann Dockery Bush Strope

Rebecca Ann Dockery Bush Strope, 76, passed away  Tues., Nov. 10, 2020 at her home in Bradyville.   She was a native of Wilson Co., Tn.

She is survived by her children, Cindy (Karl) England of Woodbury, Tim (Becky) Bush and Kim (Kirk) Bush both of Bradyville; grandchildren, Matt (Erin) Bush of Readyville, Tyler (Beth) Bush of Bradyville and Joshua England of Morrison; great grandchildren, Mackenzie and Lucas Bush with Oakleigh Bush on the way; sister, Sara (Jody) Tuck of Auburntown; ex-husband, Eddie Strope of Woodbury. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
 
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harvie and Ethelyene Keaton Dockery, her first husband, Bobby Bush and her sister, Delilah Hughes.
 
A member of the Hollow Springs Community Church, Ms. Strope was a homemaker most of her life but also worked at Colonial Shirt Factory and Fuston’s Five and Dime.  In her younger years, she enjoyed clogging and volunteering at the Good Samaritan Hospital.
 
Graveside Services will be 2 pm Thursday, November 12, 2020 at Gilley Hill Cemetery with Bro Greg Mitchell officiating.  Visitation with her family will be from 4 pm until 8 pm Wednesday, November 11, 2020.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Gilley Hill Cemetery.
