Philip Lindeman Obituary

Philip Douglas Lindeman, age 89, comfortably passed away with his wife, Rosemary L. Lindeman, at his bedside on Saturday, May 27, 2023 in Woodbury, TN. Originally from Hawaii, Douglas was born September 6,1933, son to the late Philip Ferdinand Lindeman and Anna Louise Brady. He graduated from the University of Maryland in 1956 with a degree in pharmacy. He spent his career working at a variety of pharmacies on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. His favorite pastime was spending multi-day treks hiking the northern Virginia and Maryland sections of the Appalachian Trail with the Boy Scouts.

Survivors include his wife Rosemary L. Lindeman, of Murfreesboro, TN; son, Philip A. Lindeman; daughters, Susan Biggs, Genevieve Carlson, and Amy Lucas.

A memorial service for the family will be held at a site on the Appalachian Trail later this summer.
