Peggy Joyce (Davenport) Pitts

Peggy Joyce Davenport Pitts, age 93, passed away peacefully into the arms of her Savior on October 26, 2025. She was a native of Cannon County and the daughter of the late Truman and Mary Tucker Davenport. She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Floyd Pitts and her brother, Billy Davenport.

She is survived by two daughters, Tyanne (Randy) King, Denita (Lee) Graham and one son, Robbin (Judy) Pitts, 10 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Peggy was a member of the Bradley Creek Baptist church. She retired from the Colonial Shirt Factory. She spent many hours reading her Bible, working in her puzzle books and she loved her dogs and kitties. She was a kind, loving mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed.

Her family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 28, 20025 beginning at 12 Noon. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Joel Young officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside Gardens. Sons-in-law and grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
