Medford Jason Murphy

Medford Jason Murphy, age 50, of Liberty passed away suddenly Friday, June 26, 2026 at his home.  He was born on April 1, 1976 in Dekalb County.

He is survived by his parents, Medford & Ruth Estes Murphy of Liberty; Siblings, Trinna (Eddie) Lawson of Liberty & Jamie (Josie Cooper) Murphy of McMinnville; Nieces & Nephews, Ashley (Michael Obeirn) Lawson, Jonathan Lawson, & Holly Lawson; and Special Family Friend, Erica Kerjes.  Many great nieces & nephews also survive.

Jason was a member of the church of Christ and worked at Kingston Timers.  He enjoyed his cats, football, and the weather channel.

Funeral Services will be at 2 pm Tuesday, June 30, 2026 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Greg Mitchell officiating.  Interment will follow at Ferrell Magee Cemetery.  Visitation with family & friends will be from 4 pm to 8 pm Monday, June 29, 2026 at Woodbury Funeral Home.
