Mary Rogers

Mary Rogers, 75, of Lascassas passed away peacefully at her home Tuesday, October 3, 2023.  Born in Rockford, IL., she was the daughter of the late James Eugene Walker and Margret Hannah Brown.

Ms. Rogers is survived by her daughter, Sharon Williams; grandchildren, Kristi Armstrong, Kayla Williams, Michelle Williams and Colby Williams; great grandchildren, Carter, Camden and Tommy Armstrong, Alora Dixit, Hudson Patterson, James Michael, Eddie, Nora and Knox Armstrong; siblings, Janie Walker, Rita (Mike) Garrett, Joe Brown and Jesse Brown.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Doc and Cleo Walker; her former husband, James Rogers; grandson, Michael Armstrong, Jr.; great grandson, Aiden Anderson; and her brothers, Robert “Bobby” Walker and Jerry Brown.

Mary was retired from General Electric where she worked for 48 years.  She loved collecting and was a director with Home Interior for many years.  She loved being outdoors and going to yard sales but most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, October 7, 2023 at Coleman cemetery.
