Martha Alberta England

Martha Alberta England, age 85, of Murfreesboro passed away Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at Alive Hospice of Murfreesboro.  She was a native  of Prentis Co., MS.  

Survivors include her son, Karl & Cindy England of Woodbury; Grandson, Josh England of Woodbury; Sister, Jean Hodge of Hornsby, TN; and her longtime companion, Billy Higgins of Murfreesboro.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Cletis Willard & Nellie Alberta Goodrum Burcham; and sisters, Dorothy Grantham & Elizabeth Hodge.

Martha was a member of the Piney Grove Church of God and was retired from Samsonite.  She enjoyed growing and tending to her flowers, shopping, and spending time with her grandson.

The family will receive visitors for the visitation from 5 PM to 8 PM Thursday, April 29, 2021 at Woodbury Funeral Home & 1 PM to 2 PM at Shackelford Funeral Home in Bolivar on Sunday, May 2, 2021 with graveside services immediately following at Hatchie Cemetery (Hardeman Co.).
