Louise (Campbell) Milligan

Louise Campbell Milligan, age 93, of Woodbury passed away Saturday, March 18, 2023 at NHC Murfreesboro.  She was born December 15, 1929 to her parents, Reps Campbell & Sarah Melton Campbell in Cannon County.

Survivors include her children, Stella Ann (G.C.) Hixson of Readyville, David Edward (Darlene) Milligan of Mt. Juliet, & Timothy Milligan of Woodbury; Grandchildren, Jake Milligan, Jeremy Milligan, Katie Milligan, Clay Hixson, & Cory Hixson; Great Grandchildren, Campbell, Piper, Maeve, Jeremiah, Margaret Ann, George, Emersyn, Jacob, & Sadie.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas "Tom" Edward Milligan; Parents, Reps Campbell & Sarah Melton Campbell; daughter-in-law, Teresa Milligan; granddaughter, Sara Milligan; and her sister, Sue Patterson.

Ms. Milligan was a member of the Clear Fork Methodist Church.  She attended Middle Tennessee State University and was a teacher, an LPN, and was the owner of the Southern Health Foods store.  She enjoyed reading & gardending.  She also loved to sew and travel.

Funeral Services will be at 1 PM Thursday, March 23, 2023 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Jim Clardy & Billy Webb officiating.  Interment will follow at Sycamore Cemetery.  The family will receive friends for the visitation from 4 to 8 PM Wednesday, March 22, 2023 & from 11 AM until time of the service Thursday.
