Louise (Gilley) Bryson

Louise Gilley Bryson, 94, of Woodbury passed away Monday, August 21, 2023 at Alive Hospice of Murfreesboro.  A native of Cannon Co., she was the daughter of the late Ben & Evelyn Markum Gilley. 

She is survived by her children, Joe Bryson of Woodbury and Rita (Bill) Bryant of Powell, TN.; grandchildren, Betsy Hawkins, Ben (Misty) Bryson, Josh (Dottie) French and Matt (Jessica) French and sister-in-law, Norma Bryson of Woodbury. 8 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild also survive.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Lee “Rusty” Bryson.

A member of the Sycamore Baptist church, Ms. Bryson was a retired school bus driver. She enjoyed doing yard work.

Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday, August 26, 2023 at Sycamore Baptist church with Bro. Richard Williams officiating.  Interment will follow in the Sycamore cemetery. 

Visitation with the family will be from 4:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. Friday and Saturday from 10 am – 12 noon at Woodbury Funeral Home.
