Lola "Polly" Barrett, age 102, passed away Saturday, April 6, 2024 at the Webb House. She was born to her parents, George Washington "Boss" & Hattie Enos Youngblood on March 26, 1922 in Cannon County.
She is survived by her son, Dwight (Brenda) Barrett of McMinnville; Grandchildren, Jason (Stormy) Barrett of Lebanon, Courtney (Ryan) Crook of Lebanon, Lindsey Bouldin of McMinnville; Great Grandchildren, Riley Barrett, Greyson Barrett, Sam, Reagan Crook, Cooper & Sawyer Bouldin, Jackub Crook; Special Friends, Linda Holder & Helen Miller
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Barrett; daughter-in-law, Carol Glenn Barrett; Siblings, Everett, Hallis, Mayme, Toy, Lonnie, & Lela Osment & Dovie Hibdon & infant sister, Helen Youngblood.
She leaves behind many nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
She was a member of the Bybee Branch church of Christ and was retired from Kingston Timers. Even at 101, Mrs. Barrett still lived alone and mowed her own yard. She believed age was only a number.
Graveside Services will be at 2:30 PM Sunday, April 7, 2024 at Leoni Cemetery with Bro.Tony Lawrence officiating. The family will receive friends for the visitation from 10 AM until 2 PM Sunday at Woodbury Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Leoni Cemetery or any charity of your choice.
