Linda Faye (Smithson) Haley

Linda Smithson Haley, beloved mother, sister, nana and aunt passed away peacefully Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at Alive Hospice surrounded in love by family.  She was born on November 25, 1944 in Nashville, TN.  She was raised in the Pleasant View community of Cannon Co.  She was a retired office administrative worker.  She served as a vital part of several different companies.  She enjoyed playing cards with friends, vacations, bluegrass, country and gospel music and most of all being with her family.

She was preceded in death by her father, Leon Smithson; mother, Christine Gaither Ash, and brothers, Charles, Jerry, Donnie, Drennan and Tommy “Junior” Smithson.

She is survived by her daughter, Tracie Larimer (Orland) Wolford of Ponte Verda Beach, FL.,; son, Chad (Heather) Evans of Murfreesboro; sister, Amy Henderson of Beech Grove; grandchildren, Olivia Wolford of Brooklyn, NY and Dillon Evans (Madison) of Woodbury, along with many nieces, nephews and her closest of friends.

Her family will receive friends Friday, October 17, 2025 from 11:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M.  Memorial services will follow at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Herb Alsup officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to Alive Hospice of Murfreesboro or Iconium cemetery.
