Lesa Renee Smithson

Lesa Renee Smithson, age 56, of Murfreesboro passed away Thursday, May 20, 2021 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital.  She was a native of Cannon Co.

Survivors include her mother, Wilma Merritt Thomas of Woodbury; Son, Jake Smithson of Woodbury; Special Friend, Steven Taylor of Murfreesboro; Sister, Diane Davenport of Woodbury; Brothers, Ronnie Thomas & Michael Thomas, both of Woodbury; Niece & Nephew, Chris Davenport of Woodbury & Breanna Thomas of Wartrace; and Best Friend, Mary Alice Harvey of Smyrna.

Renee was a member of the church of Christ and was the office manager for Coldwell Banker Barnes for 38 years.  She enjoyed gardening, growing her flowers, and spending time with her dogs, Matt & Jenny.

Funeral Services will be 4 PM Monday, May 24, 2021 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Greg Mitchell officiating.  Interment will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 4 PM to 8 PM Sunday, May 23, 2021 and from 1 PM to 4 PM Monday, May 24, 2021 at Woodbury Funeral Home.
