Larry Clark Gannon, 60, of Woodbury passed away Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at St. Thomas Stones River. A native of Cannon Co., he was the son of Floyd & Fannie Miller Gannon.
He is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 38 years, Kay Todd Gannon; his loving mother-in-law, Lola Coppinger Todd; sister-in-law, Beverly (Ron) Parks; niece and nephew that he loved as his own, Brandy Cook and Cody (Suzanne) Parks; special great niece and nephews that were his buddies, Savannah & Bentley Parks and Brenden & Conner Cook; aunt, Faye Thomas and uncle, Wade Gannon all of Woodbury. Also surviving is his special dog, Buck and numerous cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Rita Howell and his father-in-law, William Doak Todd.
A member of the church of Christ, he was retired from construction work where he did vinyl siding and trim. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Funeral services will be 3:00 P.M. Saturday, October 7, 2023 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Oren Hicks officiating. Interment will follow in the Iconium cemetery. Pallbearers are his friends including Nicholas Foster, Rodney Pelham, Gary Pelham, Kenneth Leedom, Ron Parks and Ed Brock. Honorary pallbearers will be Tracy Young, James Young and Chuck Frazier.
Visitation with his family will Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until his time of service at 3:00 P.M.
