Kristy Jane (King) Ruehlen

Kristy Jane King Ruehlen, 52, of Woodbury passed away Friday, June 18, 2021 at St. Thomas Rutherford after a courageous battle with cancer.  A native of Cannon Co., she was the daughter of the late Lloyd King and Janie Melton King.

She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Danny Ruehlen of Woodbury, her children, Lauren Ruehlen of Murfreesboro and Josh Ruehlen of Woodbury; uncle and aunt, Wallace & Linda King of Woodbury; great aunt and uncle, Nancy & Buddy Davenport; cousin, Kathy Davenport of Woodbury; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Carolyn & Terry Motley; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Brenda & Tim Alexander and Mike & Ginger Ruehlen.

Kristy was a member of the Woodbury church of Christ and was a claims specialist for State Farm Insurance.  She loved doing things around her house such as cleaning, painting and decorating.  She also enjoyed relaxing by the pool and spending vacations at the beach with her family.  Above everything else, Kristy was a wonderful wife and mother. She will be greatly missed by those who loved her.

Memorial service will be 1 pm Friday, June 25, 2021 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Charlie Bowman officiating.  Visitation with her family will be from 10 am until her time of service.
