Kenneth T. Jernigan

Kenneth T. Jernigan, 80, passed away Thursday April 30, 2020 at St. Thomas Rutherford.  He was a native of Cannon Co. and lived in Readyville.

He is survived by his children, Kim (Michael) Nichols of Bradyville and Chris Jernigan of Readyville; brothers, French (Janet) Jernigan and Aubrey (Bernice) Jernigan both of Bradyville; grandchildren, Kallie (Caleb) Willoughby of Republic, MO, Kenna (Trent) Parker of Bradyville, Zoe Nichols of Bradyville and Paisley Jernigan of Gordonsville and great grandchildren, Carter, Bradlee, Peyton and Lincoln.
 
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bronson and Annie Bell Rogers Jernigan, his loving wife of 45 years, Linda Smith Jernigan, daughter, Lydia Mullins and brothers, Sewell and Gene Jernigan.
 
Kenneth was retired from the State of Tennessee Middle Tennessee Mental Health Institute after 32 years of service as Admissions Supervisor.  He enjoyed a lifetime of farming.  Kenneth was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and a friend to many.
 
Graveside Services will be 2 pm Friday, May 1, 2020 at Cherry Cemetery with Bro. Al Bugg, Jr. officiating.
