Kathleen Nelson Winchell

Kathleen Nelson Winchell, 88, passed away Monday, November 21, 2022 at her home in Woodbury.  A native of Manhattan, NY., she was the daughter of the late Richard and Alice Jones Lee.     

She is survived by her children, John (Rhonda) Nelson of Augusta, GA., Frank (Roseanna) Nelson of Orlando, FL., Carmel Nelson of Woodbury, Theresa (Allen) Lindsay of Knoxville and Joseph Nelson of Murfreesboro. 

Several grandchildren, many great and 2 great great grandchildren also survive. She is also survived by her nephew, Richard (Madelyn) Lee.

Ms. Winchell was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Alice Jones Lee; her husbands, John Nelson and Robert Winchell, her daughter, Regina Nelson, her daughter-in-law, Deborah Kay Nelson and her brother, James Lee.

Ms. Kathleen was a Christian and was a store clerk at Kwik Shop.  She enjoyed spending time with her family, knitting and playing Sudoku.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
