Obituary
Sylvia June Warren Gunter, 98, passed away Friday, September 2,2022 at her residence. A native of Cannon Co., TN., she was the daughter of the late Jake and Mary Purser Warren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Limon Ray Gunter; daughters Deborah Lorance, Carla Collen Gunter, son Limon Ray Gunter Jr., grandson Justin Jacobs; siblings Nolan Warren, Claire Greer, Joyce Prater, and Grey Warren.
Survivors include her children, Jane Bryant (David) of Manchester, Kay Jones (Clarence) of McMinnville, Arnold Gunter of Short Mtn, Jerry Gunter of Woodbury, Terry Gunter (Donna) of Bradyville, Joyce Jacobs (Aaron) of Centertown, Tony Gunter (Evonne) of Bradyville, Christie Wimberley of Lascassas, and Patricia Powell (Stephen) of Bradyville . Several grandchildren also survive.
A member of the church of Christ, Ms. Gunter was a homemaker. She enjoyed reading the paper, quilting, flowers, games and playing cards.
Visitation with her family will be from 3 pm until 8 pm Sunday, September 4,2022 and Monday 10:00 AM until time of service. Funeral services will be Monday, September 5,2022 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral home with Bro. Stephen Powell and Bro. Charles Williams officiating.
