Judy Carolyn Gannon

Judy Carolyn Gannon, 75, passed away Thursday, August 10, 2023 at her home in Readyville.  A native of Cannon Co., she was the daughter of the late John and Mary Vassar Underwood.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Wade Gannon of Readyville; children, Joan (Wayne)Ferrell of Readyville and Caleb Gannon of Brentwood; grandchildren, Kourtney Kaul, Corey Ferrell and Dayton Gannon; great grandchildren, Bailey, Weston, Aubree and Skylar and siblings, Bobby Underwood of Viola and Viva Dean Hollis of Nashville.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Unive Knox, Bud Underwood and Jerry Underwood.

A member of the Bradyville church of Christ, she was a seamstress for Val-Dor.  Judy loved her family immensely especially getting to spend time with her grandbabies.  She enjoyed watching basketball, crocheting and collecting hummingbirds. 

Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, August 12, 2023 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Charles Gunter officiating.  Interment will follow in the Prater Cemetery.  Pallbearers include Corey Ferrell, Jacob Kaul, Bobby Parker, Jason Thomas, Ronnie Parker, Junior Underwood, Keith Thomas, Shawn Gunter and Jeremy Gunter.

Visitation with her family will be Friday, August 11, 2023 from 4:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M.
