John Wesley Bogard

John Wesley Bogard, 66, passed away Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at St. Thomas – West.  He was born in Ft. Wayne, IN to his parents, James Franklin & Clara Pearl Eslick Bogard.

He is survived by his children, Jessica Bogard-Heffner (Kevin Peacher) of Lacey, WA., James (Crystal) Bogard of Woodbury, Jodie (KJ) Edwards of Murfreesboro; grandchildren, Kaylie, Bradley, Addison & Sydney Heffner, Hannah Bogard, Allison Aji, Dj Edwards and Abbey Gentry; siblings, Bobby (Brenda) Bogard of Woodbury, Billy (Shay) Bogard of Dublin, Ga., Martha (Mike) Humphrey of McMinnville and his best friend, James “Poug” Rigsby of McMinnville.  Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
 
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Franklin & Clara Pearl Eslick Bogard; son, Justin Bogard; granddaughter, Hope Heffner and brother, LeRoy Bogard.
 
A member of the Ivy Bluff Methodist church, John was a farmer and loved being outdoors.  He enjoyed fishing, wood working and loved spending his time with his family, especially his grandchildren. 
 
Graveside Services will be 2 pm Saturday, November 21, 2020 at the Ivy Bluff Cemetery with Pastor Neal Glass officiating.  Visitation with the family will be Friday, November 20, 2020 from 4 pm until 8 pm and Saturday from 10 am until 1:15 pm.
