Jimmy Lee Kent

In the early morning of October 8, 2025, Jimmy Lee Kent passed away at Skyline Medical Center at the age of 61.  He was born in Madison Hospital on January 29, 1964 to CJ & Myrna Kent.  In his life, he attended Nashville Tech where he learned to be a tool & dye maker.  Jimmy loved working with his hands whether it was restoring cars or detailing his Harley’s.  He enjoyed spending as much time as he could with his family, nieces, nephews, and even his littles (great nieces & nephews).  Jimmy Kent is survived by his loving mother, Myrna Kent; daughter, Ashlee (John) Berry; siblings, Larry (Kim) Kent, Sharon Kent Kelley, Michael Kent; nieces & nephews, Vicki Kent, Haylee (Blake) Rogers, Ryan (Rhiannon) Kent, Hunter Leemon, Camden (Delainie) Rogers, his littles (great nieces and nephews), Annica Rogers, Ava Olsen, Trevor Leemon, Karter Rogers, Harper Rogers, Raegan Rogers, Ruthie Rogers, Charlie Leemon, Dakota Rogers, & Brayden McDonald.  Many other family and friends also survive.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charlie & Lela Mae Kent, Haskell and Juanita Melton Smith and his father, CJ Kent.

Funeral Services will be at 4 pm Monday, October 13, 2025 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Terrell McCormick officiating.  Interment will follow at Blues Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends for the visitation from 12 pm until time of the service at 4 pm at Woodbury Funeral Home.
