Jerry Wayne Stone

Jerry Wayne Stone, age 68, of Woodbury passed away Monday, March 6, 2023 at his home.  He was born to his parents, Johnny Stone & Viola Bullard Stone on December 22, 1954 in Cannon County.

Survivors include his wife, Lisa Marie Pinkston Stone of Woodbury; Sons, Thomas (Jessica) Stone of Woodbury & Jerry Dewayne Stone of Nashville; Stepsons, Justin (Sky) Bentley, Jacob (Alanis) Bentley, & Joseph Bentley, all of Woodbury; Grandchildren, Kyree Odom, Kacetone Stone, Charlotte Stone, Amelia Bentley, Boone Bentley, and one on the way, Sutton Thomas Stone; and Siblings, Rita (Raymond) Barlow, Perry (Sue) Stone, and Glenn Stone.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Michael Stone; and his brother, Donald Stone.

Jerry was a foreman for the Rutherford Co. Highway Department for 30 years.  He enjoyed camping, fishing, and working on cars.  He never sat around and was always busy finding things to do.

Funeral Services will be at 2 PM Friday, March 10, 2023 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Greg Mitchell officiating.  Interment will follow at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.  The family will receive friends for the visitation from 10 AM to 2 PM Friday, March 10, 2023 at Woodbury Funeral Home.
