Jerry Wayne Parker

Jerry Wayne Parker, hard-working, dedicated, and loving husband, father, and "Papa" passed away in his home on March 26, 2023 surrounded by loved ones at the age of 76.  He was the son of the late Berlie Lee and Mallie B. Herman Parker.  He is also preceded in death by his brothers, Billy & Truitt Parker; Sisters, Freda Rose Parker & Phyllis Young.

He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Susan Parker.  Also surviving are children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, great grandpup, his sister, Betty Jo Wattlington, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He worked in the sewing industry and maintenance most of his life, but his true passion was woodworking and electrical maintenance.  He could fix anything!  He enjoyed riding horses and coon hunting in his younger years then working in his garden and spending time with his family and grandbabies.

At this time, memorial arrangements are to be determined at a later date for close family and friends.
