Janet Sue Banta

Janet Sue Banta, 70, of Bradyville passed away Saturday, July 24, 2021 from an extended illness at St. Thomas Stones River E/R.  She was a native of Sullivan Co. and the daughter of the late Harry Wayne and June Lang Carpenter.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, James A. “Jim” Banta of Bradyville; her son, James F. Banta of Bradyville; siblings, Darrell Carpenter of IN., Cheryl Carpenter of Hymera, IN., Pat Ford of West Palm Beach, FL. And Michelle Carpenter of Farmersburg, IN.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded by her son, Jeffery Allen Banta.

Mrs. Banta was a member of the Woodbury Church of Christ  and a housewife. 

Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Wed., July 28, 2021, in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Eddie Boggess officiating. Internment will follow in the Parker Hill Cemetery.  Visitation with the family will be from  4 pm – 8 pm  Tuesday July 29, 2021.
