Jamie Lynn Barrett

Jamie Lynn Barrett of Woodbury passed away at his home Wednesday, March 1, 2023.  He was a native of Cannon Co.

He is survived by his parents, Mary Thomas Elkins and Dewey (Arlene) Barrett both of Woodbury; children, Jordyn Barrett of Georgia, Ashley Barrett of Murfreesboro and Justin Barrett of Woodbury; siblings, Pamela Leath of Woodbury, Monica Barrett and Michael Barrett both of Smithville.  Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Jerry Elkins.

Jamie was disabled and previously worked for Nissan Mfg. Corp.  He had many interest in life such as art, drawing and working on vehicles.  Jamie was always happy and was easy going.  He was a wonderful son and a loving father.

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Sunday, March 5, 2023 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Greg Mitchell officiating. Interment will follow at Riverside Gardens cemetery.

Visitation with his family will be Saturday, March 4, 2023 from 4:00 pm until 8 pm.
