James “Mike” Michael Knox passed away November 30th 2020, 63, in Portage County Wisconsin following an extended illness. A native of Cannon County, born December 3, 1956. Mike was the son of James Parmer Knox (step-mother Dorthy Knox Pearson) and Genece Faye Gordon (Corbitt) (step-father Billy Richard Corbitt).

He is survived by his sister Anita Faye Knox (Crips) and brother in law Jackie Ray Crips of Woodbury. Nieces Angela Dawn Hoover (Stroh) of Readyville and Jennifer Irene Crips (Collins) of Woodbury.
Mike will always be remembered for his love of God, striking blue eyes, hunting, fishing, spotted saddle horses, Jack Russells, duct tape and his fishing Motto....ripsomelip! His step mother Dorthy Pearson added that Mike was a special boy and man, always kind and thoughtful. Precious memories with Mike and Anita his sister.
Per Mikes wishes he was cremated in WI and brought home to TN to be scattered on Center Hill Lake with immediate family. The lake held a special place in Mike's heart, because that was the first place his father ever took him fishing. A memorial will be placed in his honor at Curlee Cemetery, where he went to church when he was younger.
But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40:31
