James Robert Mayo

   James Robert Mayo, 89, a native of Cannon County, passed away peacefully at the Woodbury Health and Rehab Center on Monday, January 20, 2020 after an extended illness.  He was a member of the Church of Christ and a farmer.

   He was  the son of the late James  "J.B." and Eva Helen Preston Mayo.  He was also preceded in death by his sister and brother-in-law, Margil and Pauline Mayo Campbell. 

   James is survived by his niece, Wanda (Larry) Parker; 2 great nephews, Brian (Carla) Parker and Blake (Natasha) Parker; a great great niece, Emily Parker; a great great step nephew, Wyatt Coffman all of Woodbury; and long time good friend, Steve Crittenden.

   Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Thursday, January 23 at Riverside Gardens with Bro. Stan Hollandsworth officiating. Visitation will Wednesday 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Woodbury Funeral Home.
