Howard Lee Reed

Howard Lee Reed, 95, of Woodbury passed away Monday, June 12, 2023 at Alive Hospice of Murfreesboro.  A native of Cannon Co., he was the son of the late Charlie Reed and Birdie Rogers Reed.  

He is survived by his son, Bobby Reed of Woodbury; granddaughters, Leslie Haley and Patricia Locke both of Woodbury; special nephew and niece, Gary and Eloise Rains of Porterfield and sister-in-law, Betty Reed of Woodbury.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Eva Louise Rains Reed; 2 daughters, Glenda Harrell and Linda Reed and brother, Ralph Reed.

A member of the McMahan church of Christ, Mr. Reed loved his church and church family.  He was a carpenter.  Howard enjoyed fishing, woodworking, made guitars, and could look at a picture and make it. 

Funeral services will be 2:30 pm Thursday, June 15, 2023 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff McMahan officiating.  Interment will follow Cherry Cemetery.

Visitation with the family will be after 11:00 am Thursday, June 15, 2023.
