Gloria Lynn Kaylor

Gloria Lynn Kaylor, 79, of Bradyville passed away Thursday, February 19, 2026 at her home surrounded by her family. Born in Nashville, she was the daughter of the late Mildred Elizabeth Mays and Lhoman Claude Mays. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Elizabeth “Beth” Kaylor and her granddaughter, Christie Belcher.

She is survived by her 3 children, Donald Lee (Lisa) Kaylor, Jr. of Nashville, Gloria Norenee Kaylor of Smyrna and Stephanie Ophelia (Leon) Jones of Bradyville; grandchildren, Chasity Knight, timothy Vaughn, Steven Vaughn, Crystal Autumn Lindsay, Storie Diane Kootes, Zachary Long, Leon Gerald Jones, Jr. and Allyson Devin Peralta; brothers, Rodney Stillings and Phillip Stillings both of Donleson. Also surviving are numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

Gloria was a business owner who was beautiful, loving and kind. She was the backbone of her family and most would consider her their own superhero. She was a racecar driver earning the prestigious award of being inducted in the Hall of Fame at the Nashville Fairgrounds Raceway. She was the only driver to win a race upside down as she crossed that finish line. She instilled that love of racing down to her children and grandchildren who are following in her footsteps. Her grandson even named his car “Lynn”. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Her family will receive friends Saturday, February 21, 2026 beginning at 10:00 A.M. Funeral services will follow at 5:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Jonathan Womack officiating.
