Georgeina (Haase) Fugate

Georgeina Haase Fugate, 84, of Bradyville passed away at her home Wednesday, May 7, 2025. Born in Cleveland, OH., she was the daughter of the late Carole Skumanick and her husband, Andrew Skumanick and Curtis Haase. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Fugate, son George Robert Fugate and sister Carole Havilland.

She is survived by her children, Lisa Fugate and Steven Andrew Fugate both of Manchester, Denise Michelle Gabbard of Ft. Myers, FL and Bryon Joseph Fugate of Germany; grandchildren, Kevin Gabbard, Michael Gabbard, Christina Gabbard, Justin Fugate, Sara Fugate, David Fugate, Ashley Fugate, Joseph Watts and Lisa Watts; great grandchildren, Erica, Brennan, Alyssa, Xavier, Zachary and MaKayla Gabbard and Lorelai Jane Watts Emma and Logan Slosarick and Brooke and Callie Beauchamp. Also surviving is her sister, Andrea Navin of OH.

A retired homemaker, Ms. Fugate loved nature, being outdoors and feeding the birds. She loved all animals. A feisty lady, she watched reality tv, reading, gardening and trying new restaurants. She enjoyed indulging eating cheesecake, fudge and ice cream.

Her wishes were to be cremated and her family will celebrate her life at a later date.
