Geneva Marie (Sparks) Huddleston

Geneva Marie Sparks Huddleston, 88, of Woodbury, TN. passed away Tuesday, August 8, 2018 in Nashville, Tn. of a short illness.  Geneva was born in Estill County, KY., the daughter of the late Daniel & Georgiann Lakes Sparks.

She is survived by her daughter, Tina (Greg) Campbell of Woodbury; granddaughters, Sarah Bailey (Sean Studd), Esther (B.J.) Bobo and Erika Holmes; Grandsons, Douglas Holmes and Brett (Faye) Holmes; great grandchildren, Brandon Bailey, Jada Bobo, Emily & Kaitlyn Sparks and Joshua Holmes; dear friends, Pauline and Jim Fraley and special caregiver, Karen Bartlett.

In addition to her parents, Ms. Huddleston was preceded in death by her high school sweetheart and husband of 68 years, Douglas Huddleston, daughter, Marsha Holmes and son, Terry Huddleston. 

Geneva loved God and was a member of the Woodbury First Baptist Church.  She was also a member of the Cannon County Senior Citizen Center since 2006.  Her faith was an inspiration to her family and her community.  She loved music, crocheting and visiting with family and friends.  She will be greatly missed.

Funeral services will be 1 pm Saturday, August 11, 2018 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Dean Anderson and her brother-in-law, Royce Huddleston officiating. 

Visitation with the family will be Friday from 4 pm until 8 pm and Saturday until the time of service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cannon Co. Senior Center.
