Gary Oliver Parker

Gary Oliver Parker , 82, passed away Tues., Jan. 28, 2020 at Woodbury Health Care.  He was a native of  Vancouver, WA. and lived in Woodbury.

He is survived by his children, George M. Parker, II of Woodbury, Leslie Parker Medieros of MA., Joan K. Garretson of CA., Julia Ann Schaeffer of S.C.; grandchildren, Rachel Smith, Robert Garretson, Sarah Johnson, Casandria Doyle, Jessica Schaeffer and Brooke Schaeffer. 6 great grandchildren also survive.
 
Mr. Parker was preceded in death by his parents, George Marvin Parker and Lillian Beatrice Hasbrook and his wife, Linda Avanell Davenport Parker.
 
A member of the Baptist Church, Gary was a retired mechanic with United Airlines.  He was also a member of the Army National Guard, the Schriners, Scottish Rite, Eastern Star in California and Tennessee, a 33 degree Mason at Cannon Lodge #774. 
 
Memorial Services will be 2 pm Wed., 02/12/20 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. John Jones officiating.  Interment  will follow in the Centerhill Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 1 pm until 2 pm., Wednesday, February 12, 2020.
