Gail Elizabeth (Kyne) Bratcher

Gail E. Bratcher, (Libby) 67, of Manchester TN, passed away Tuesday July 25, 2023, at Woodbury Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born February 27, 1956, in Xenia OH, the daughter of James B. and Marjorie J. Kyne. She dedicated her life to caring for others as a registered nurse, especially in nursing homes. She was an extraordinary person. Her ability to be attentive in the moment, playful, serious, and engaging was truly a superpower that enriched the lives of those around her. Gail had a passion for life, lived it fully, and enjoyed a good game of Scrabble. 

She is survived by her three sons, James (Michelle) Miller, Jesse (Carrie) Miller, and Richard (Laura) Miller, 13 grandchildren, Abigail Hickerson, Cole Hickerson, Cody Miller, Dylan Miller, Madison Fischer, Ryan Fischer, Mason Miller, Ella Miller, Briana Miller, Nathan Miller, Avalyn Miller, Alexis Miller, and Samuel Miller, one great grandson, Cai James Miller, five sisters, Karen Carroll, Rebecca (Clay) Engle, Molly Kyne, Mary Lou Kyne, and Melissa (Paul) Martin, three brothers, John (Joyce) Kyne, David (Debbie) Kyne, and Chris (Lisa) Kyne, sister-in-law, Kay Kyne; lifelong friends, Kris Brewer Virgint and Becky (Cattorini) Shackleton. Libby leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews who love her and will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers Thomas Jay Kyne and James Michael Kyne, her daughter, Megan Jane, and her lifelong friend Ronda Smith.

Libby was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew her.

Memorial services will be 4:00 pm Saturday, August 12, 2023 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home.
