Frances Marie (Brown) DeMass

Frances Marie Brown DeMass, 64, of Woodbury passed away Tuesday, August 06, 2019 at her home.  She was born in Hammond, IN., to her parents, the late Cecil Brown, Jr. and Ernestine Ferrell Brown. 

She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Jim DeMass of Woodbury; daughters, Jennifer Delamora Milligan and her husband, Anthony of Woodbury, Angie Lowery of LaFayette, Gidget Montague, Holly DeMass and Amanda DeMass all of IN.; grandchildren,  BJ, Kristy, Brittney, Shayla, Kaitlyn and Dakota; great grandchildren, Chloe, Gracie, Joseph, William and Isabella; sisters, Brenda Bogle of Murfreesboro and Deborah Ernestine Fanning. 
 
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Virginia Scott.
 
Marie was a member of the church of Christ, was a nurse’s aide in IN and worked in housekeeping at Woodbury Health and Rehab.  She was a caring person, a loving wife and mother.  It would make her day to go to auctions and she absolutely loved going to the Watertown yard sale because she was always looking for a deal. 
 
Funeral Services will be 1 pm Friday, August 09, 2019 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Wade Campbell officiating.  Interment will follow in the Pleasant View Cemetery.  Visitation with the family will be from 12 noon until 8 pm Thursday, August 08, 2019.  For those wishing to do so, donations may be made to Pleasant View Cemetery c/o Woodbury Funeral Home, 615-563-2311.
