Forbes Lee Davis

Forbes Lee Davis, age 90, passed away May 25, 2022 at Bradford Oaks Center in Clinton, Maryland.  He was a native of Westchester, PA.

Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Blanche Katherine Davis; and a special nephew, Joe Ockershausen.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Harriet Menge Barlowe; Siblings, Betty Lou Buttrey, William Francis Barlowe, & Glen Gordon Davis.

Mr. Davis served in the Marines for 3 1/2 years and fought in the Korean War and left as a sergeant.  He later moved to Clinton, MD and worked for 20 years for local 602 Steam Fitters.  He also worked for the Library of Congress for 23 years.  He was a member of the church of Christ.

Graveside Services will be at 2 PM Friday, June 3, 2022 at Riverside Cemetery with  Bro. Greg Mitchell officiating.  Visitation will be from 12 PM to 1:45 PM at Woodbury Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Roger Hindman, Donald Thompson, Johnny Thompson, Jimmy Duggin, Gus Davenport, & Bode Davenport.
