Flora Lynn Mayo

Flora Lynn Mayo, 61, passed away at her home in Jamestown, TN. following an extended illness.  Born in Cincinnati, OH., she was the daughter of late Roy and Patricia Elkins Stratton.

She is survived by her children, Kenny (Melanie) Stratton of Lewisburg, Payton Mayo (Rabia Anwar Fazli) of Knoxville and Trisha Mayo (Mike McMillan) of Fl.; grandchildren, Destinee Stratton, Andrew Stratton, Owen Stratton, Sarah Mayo, Jackson Mayo, Hudson Mayo, Karlin and Jayden Mayo and Tori Hammond; great grandchild, Kyler Stratton; her siblings, Ted (Yiwen) Stratton of Fairfield, OH. and Paula Simmons of Middletown, OH.; aunt and uncle, Vicki (Don) Knox of Murfreesboro and Don Elkins of MO.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Clark and Pauline Elkins and her husband, Kerry Mayo.

A member of the church of Christ, Flora owned her own business cleaning homes.  She loved the outdoors and nature especially rehabilitating wild animals. She also enjoyed playing piano, growing flowers and reading.

The family will receive friends Friday, May 3, 2024 from 12:00 P.M. – 2:00 P.M. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Herb Alsup officiating.  Interment will follow in the Curlee Cemetery.
