Dorothy Bell (Keaton) Womack

Ms. Dorothy Bell Keaton Womack, age 94, of Woodbury passed away Sunday, October 4, 2020 at her home.  She was a native of Wilson Co.

Survivors include her children, Julia Eva (Jerry) Parsley, Mildred Ferrell, John Wiley, Jr. (Patricia) Womack, Margaret (Thomas) Melton, Ricky Womack, & Billy Womack all of Woodbury; 23 Grandchildren and 2 that she raised, Joe Womack & Ivy (Josh) Weimer; 42 Great Grandchildren & 32 Great Great Grandchildren; Son-in-law, Mike Sellars of Manchester; Sister-in-law, Nora Mai Keaton of Woodbury; and Brother-in-law, Marvin Baumgartner of Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her Husband, John Wiley Womack I; Daughter, Dorothy Jean Sellars; Parents, Houston Flint & Geneva Keaton; Sister, Murlene Baumgartner; Brother, John Earl Keaton; Son-in-law, J.M. Ferrell; and infant grandsons, David Grant Womack, Bobby Lee, Jr., & Thomas Matthew Melton.

Mrs. Dorothy was retired from Colonial Corporation & was a housewife.  She was a member of the Woodbury Church of Christ.  She loved working in her flowers, reading the Bible, her church, and spending time with her family.

Funeral Services will be 2 PM Wednesday, October 7, 2020 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Herb Alsup officiating.  Interment will follow at Riverside Gardens Cemetery.  Visitation with the family will be from 4 PM to 8 PM Tuesday, October 6, 2020.
