Dorothy Douglas Obituary

Dorothy Jean Melton Douglas, 88, passed away Monday, January 18, 2021 in Milton, FL. A native of Cannon Co., she was the daughter of the late Wiley and Effie Sullins Melton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Betty Jo Patterson and sisters, Lillian Ferrell, Margaret Melton, Josephine Melton Ferrell, & Ophia Mae Turner.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Kirk and Darlene Douglas of Pace, FL. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

Ms. Douglas was retired from Colonial Shirt Factory and enjoyed sewing and knitting.

Graveside services will be 11 am Thursday January 21, 2021 at Riverside Gardens Cemetery with Bro. Kelly Ferrell.
