Daniel Luther Riggan

Daniel Luther Riggan, 68, of Woodbury passed away Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at Alive Hospice.  Born in Davidson Co., he was the son of the late James Harvey Riggan, Sr. and Neely Bobbit Riggan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded by his wife, Ruby Riggan and his brothers, Ray and David Riggan.

He is survived by his stepchildren, Tracy Blackburn, Steve Martin and Dennis Martin all of Manchester and his siblings, Patricia Massey, Melinda (Henry) Watts, Carol (Mark) Davis, Gene (Sandra) Riggan, Harvey (Marcia) Riggan, Larry (Jennette) Riggan, Bill Riggan and Tim (Nam) Riggan.

Daniel was a Christian and a veteran of the United States Navy. He worked as a skilled carpenter and painter, and he enjoyed playing the guitar and banjo.

His family will receive friends, Friday, January 31, 2025 after 11:00 A.M. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Greg Mitchell officiating.  Interment will follow in the Jernigan cemetery.  Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
